Federico Guzmán. On the edge of the world

VAT. Guillem de Castro, 118

L’Artista Federico Guzmán (Sevilla, 1964), in your specific project At the edge of the world, invites us to take an initiatory journey that will immerse us in the Mediterranean Sea and, therefore, in our own roots. Accompanied by the poem About nature, of the Greek philosopher Parmenides (segle V a. dec.), addresses a journey of self-discovery that transforms the vision we have of the origins of our Western culture. The upper floor of the gallery 6 will host a collective mural on canvas made by immigrants from Sevilla Acoge, alongside students of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the UPV; the lower one will present The way of Being, an underground space of transformation that evokes the underworld of the pre-Socratic poem.
