Alexandre Lamarche and Florentine Ovize They are a duo of French artists who have been working together for twenty years., letting yourself be seduced by movement Arts & Crafts. They capture thoughts in objects of all kinds—tapestries, ceramics, drawings and installations—, seeking, especially in his sculptures, the ambiguity between the known object and the imaginary figure, between that which responds to its function and that which springs from the mind. The foot of the forest, the duo's fourth individual exhibition at the Luis Adelantado gallery, reúne drawings, paintings, silkscreens and sculptural pieces on which plant motifs accumulate, animals and hybrid forms that do not understand hierarchies.
