The City-Port Commission brings his fight against the expansion of the port of Valencia - managed by the State - to the Center del Carme in the form of art, drinking from the heritage left by other citizen movements that triumphed in the past defending the protection of the El Saler natural park (1974) or the construction of a green space for citizens in the Túria dry valley (1976). They fight for health and the environment, against the regression of the beaches of Pinedo and El Saler, and against the salinization of the Albufera, knowing that the first expansion of the port hit La Punta and made the beloved Nazaret beach disappear. Through different disciplines such as installation (a large sand sculpture in the ground represents the monster that is the port of Valencia), 3D printing, illustration or audiovisual (with mega cruises in the spotlight), The weight of water offers an artistic vision of the citizen struggles in our city signed by eight artists among whom we find Fermin Jimenez Landa, Ana Penyas, Elías Taño o Didac Ballester.
