Pain, migraines and sonatas

PLASTIC MURS. Denia, 45

Of Nuria Riaza, in Valencia, We have seen dream images that have been born from his episodes of sleep paralysis (at the exhibition coven) and works that bury their roots in the historical memory of the Spanish state (The memory of the stones), always touched with cotton thread and blue Bic pen ink. These two exhibitions mounted in 2017 y 2019 in the Pepita Lumier gallery show that the spectrum of his work is broad, has delved into the surreal of the subconscious and the earthly of documented history. Pain, migraines and sonatas, Curated by Cristina Chumillas, It's about something intangible, the physical and emotional pain caused by recurring migraines.
