Twenty designers from different parts of the world reinvent a classic element of our tradition such as the fan imagining new shapes and textures, and using innovative technologies. At the exhibition Design the air, which is framed within València World Capital of Design 2022, you will find a mother-of-pearl fan from other cultivated, made in an artisan workshop in Aldaia. And fans made of very fine plywood board cut and cut with laser, and others deconstructed, polygonal and chess, or made with printed fabrics and woods. Design, technology and craftsmanship to reformulate the fan in a ceramic museum. AU
