Toño Barreiro is an artist with a consolidated career. Known for his geometric compositions and pure colors, it proposes a search for the essence through a reductionist process in the exhibition Black square folded. He has always investigated the limits of the pictorial medium, through games with sculptural elements and the breaking of the traditional framework of painting. In this sample he introduces a series of recent creation: FLEXIA. Without abandoning his usual line of work, explore different ways of composing in another dimension. The folding, despondency, compression and articulation of plans, together with the use of new methodologies and techniques applied to the artistic process, they transmit renewed sensory experiences.
