UNTIL SUNDAY 3/9
THE SHIP. University, 2
The goal of artists Clara Boj and Diego Díaz is to overwhelm the visitor with the huge amount of data that a normal person generates with their current actions throughout a day: search for information on Google, consult eldiario.es, send photos of the kids, share a meme the Donald Trump… Dada, data and more data that is processed, purchased and grouped to form consumer profiles, trends, habits and dependencies that serve to draw our digital double, model-it i, even, predict it. The walls of the exhibition hall where they sit Authratrat or Double Digital are papered with all the information that the mobile phones of the two artists generated daily since they began their data biography (data biography) al 2017. How machines with facial recognition systems perceive us or the perverse possibilities of Artificial Intelligence (IA) they complement an exhibition that offers us a contemporary version of the self-portrait tradition that Rubens or Jan van Eyck practiced in front of the mirror.
