WITCHING TIME

OF SATURDAY 31/10 TO SATURDAY 5/12
PLASTIC MURS. Dénia, 45

Witch time opens coinciding with the night of Halloween. But let's not get the wrong idea: is about an exhibition that moves away from the stereotypical image of witches and presents us with female characters in all their complexity, portraits that reflect insecurity, contradictions, fears; women who make us reflect on certain social stigmas and the persistence of a sexist society. Witches halfway between weakness and strength, the naive and the perverse, the kind and the sinister. A common duality in the artist's work, Sara Sanz, seasoned with a rich symbolic universe.
