The success was resounding (in Valencian parameters). All tickets were sold out when in December of last year the Teatre Principal premiered this 100 percent Valencian musical comedy made possible thanks to the collaboration between the Diputació de Valencia and the Valencian Institute of Culture (IVC). The colophon came with the cheek to the best musical show in the last edition of the MAX performing arts awards. With these credentials, the return of the musical to the Principal on dates as suitable as Christmas is a winning bet. Tic-Tac it is above all a work – in Valencian – about the need for fiction in our lives, film song that Carles Alberola, director and co-author, had already shown interest. The technical bill is impressive, same as the wardrobe, music, the cast (14), the choreographies, the initial number… it is noticeable that there is a lot of money invested in the production written by the aforementioned Alberola, Rodolf Sirera and Pasqual Alapont; l’argument, nevertheless, it is quite conservative and predictable.
