Lady in red on gray background

OLYMPIA THEATER. Saint Vincent the Martyr, 44

In Lady in red on gray background, work of Miguel Delibes, José Sacristán plays Nicolás, an artist in crisis. A painter with a long career who loses his creative capacity after the early death of his wife. A narrative that combines the sweet taste of love with the bitterness of losing someone you love.. Set in Spain 1975, a country about to leave behind that gray background, we are presented with the dichotomy between happiness and sadness, so rooted in the theater, but, above all, present in life. The director José Sámano, as I already did in Five hours with Mario, has been in charge of adapting this literary work in the form of a monologue. LUCAS SÁEZ
