Prisoner of hope

FRIDAY 13/2, 20.30H. 18/24€
THE RAMBLET. Bulevard Sud, sang Pius IX

Prisoner of hope it is a reflection on how hegemonic narratives of oppression are constructed and perpetuated in times of genocide, colonial violence, occupation and absolute disregard for international law. Neighborhood Theater brings us Nabil AlRaee from the refugee camp of Al Arub, in the West Bank. In Arab and English (with Spanish subtitles), Nabil will tell us his story, which is that of the Palestinian resistance. We call it a "refugee camp" but they are real cities where thousands of people live who were expelled from their homes by the Zionists. Many still have the keys, clinging to the hope of returning one day. The Resolution 194 of the United Nations General Assembly establishes the right of Palestinians to return to their homeland, but the 2020 there was 5,4 millions of Palestinian refugees registered in the camps.
