This is a special piece, simple and with artistic ambition, which respects tradition with extreme demands. A ray of light for Spanish dance. Under the artistic and choreographic direction of d’Antonio Najarro, a new tribute to the figure of Antonia Mercé is presented, “Argentina”, who triumphed in Paris on 1929. To theirs Spanish ballets, the dancer promoted the creation of a stage repertoire that intertwined tradition and avant-garde, working side by side with great Spanish composers and artists. With this new project emblematic titles that were essential in the configuration of a modern Spanish dance with aspirations of universality are recovered. ASSUME TAMARIT
