The dangerous friendships

FROM THURSDAY 29/1 ON SUNDAY 15/2
RUSSAFA ROOM. Dénia, 55

The Valencian training Alarcon & Cornelius presents a version of the well-known French novel from the 18th century The dangerous friendships. It does so with the renewed look of the 21st century, but making it clear that many things remain valid. In the show we will see the manipulations and alcove games of the finished classes portrayed. A recreation of power relations and the fascination with evil that fills the headlines, both in that era and in ours. The protagonists are a man and a woman who were lovers some time ago and who share a passion for passionate and scandalous affairs. Leaning on the psychological portrait of the characters, the plot invites reflection on gender inequality. ASSUMPTA TAMARIT
