Alexander Pushkin, Romantic author, founder of modern Russian literature, wrote four short works known as Little tragedies on which this version of Iguana Teatre is based. Each play takes place in different times and countries of Western Europe (The Miserly Knight in France, Mozart i Salieri in Germany, The Stone Guest A Spain i The feast during the plague in England) and all of them they portray human passions such as love, the deception, jealousy, greed or envy, and the moral problems they throw us into. Iguana Teatre has brought Pushkin's parables to the present day (shares, space, wardrobe…) to make the public feel that its essence is still very much alive here and now. AU
