L’Innocent

FROM THURSDAY 21 ON SUNDAY 24/5
T. CIRCLE. Prudenci Alcón and Mateu, 3

L’innocent It is inspired by the case of Pablo Ibar, a citizen of Spanish origin convicted of a triple murder committed in Florida on 1994. He spent years on death row and today continues to serve a life sentence. The proposal of Yellow Theater reflect on guilt, the identity and irreversible weight of a sentence. But, rather than reconstructing the facts like a police report or a judicial chronicle, the work uses the crimes of Miramar as a starting point to ask about the system that decides who is guilty and who is marked forever with that label: a system where the truth can be subordinated to the need to close a case or to calm public opinion.
