Resulta algo paradójico (¿o no?) que idolatremos a personajes ficticios como Tony Soprano, Pablo Escobar o Roberto Zucco, un asesino en serie italiano que en los años ochenta repartió crímenes entre Francia e Italia. Su historia fue llevada al teatro y al cine, y ahora son Eva Zapico y Miguel Ángel Sweeney quienes la traen al Carme Teatre por segunda vez. Jugando con la oscuridad entre linternas, con el guarda claqueando el pie nervioso, empieza esta historia que nos muestra la dualidad del protagonista: pasa de leer un cuento con ternura a tener la mirada de un auténtico psicópata. The Night of Succo investigates the motivations of the real murderer and reflects on the society of entertainment, personificada en un interrogador que es una marioneta (del sistema). S.M.
