La novedad es que, on this occasion, el Lorca más trágico ha sido adaptado para ocho mujeres de etnia gitana del asentamiento de chabolas más antiguo de Europa, actrices no profesionales que sorprenden increíblemente por su autenticidad y energía. No es injustificada la expectación que esta obra causó desde su estreno, pues se trata una experiencia de integración social única en España, y se consolida ya como una de las versiones más lorquianas y emocionantes.
