SATURDAY 18 AND SUNDAY 19/6
UNSTABLE SPACE. Aparisi and Guijarro, 7
In June, Espacio Inestable offers us a double dose of high dance. The Grenadier Daniel Dona, winner at 2009 of a MAX Award for Best Choreography for headlong, he has taken his creations to renowned stages such as the Paris Opera, the New York City Center or the Sidney Opera House. Critics praise him for exploring new grounds where renewed Spanish dance coexists, flamenco and contemporary dance with other artistic disciplines. It's what you can see in habitat, a piece of captivating aesthetics that plays with vocal sounds, the palms and the crotals (finger plates), and that grows to the rhythm of the accordion and the flamenco singing to leave the audience in awe.
