FROM THURSDAY 9 ON SUNDAY 12/6
S. MICHAEL OF THE KINGS. Constitution, 284
Eight actors, different artistic disciplines and a mission: to honor all those people who fought and who still fight every day to live their identity and sexual orientation with freedom and equal rights. Through the performance, music, the dance, the performance and the experiences and reflections of this group of young artists, The caravan of flowers, from Bramant Theatre, seeks to exalt diversity and promote equality. As for the stage, it also comes loaded with a unique strength and symbolism: the piece will be performed outdoors in the cloister of the Sant Miquel dels Reis monastery, place that for many years was a prison where homosexuals served sentences, bisexuals and transsexuals. Despite the advances in the rights of the LGTBIQ+ group in our current society, the truth is that we still have a long way to go, as some attacks and hate crimes have sadly shown in recent times. More works like this are needed as an act to denounce, raise awareness, make visible and standardize. GEMMA SANCHIS
