The Machine premiered Dona Rosita, the single in January 2025. The work went through the program Off Roma of Sagunto in Scene this summer and returns once again to the stage by popular acclaim. It was the last work released during Federico García Lorca's lifetime and tells the story of a woman who eagerly awaits her cousin's love letters from the Americas., even knowing that he has married an Argentinian woman and lives in Tucumán. But in this version, besides Lorca, another force of nature converges that made freedom its hallmark: Raffaella Carrá. The history of this spinster full of fears, Desires and Hopes advances to the rhythm of the successes of the Italian diva to invite us to question the social norms that so oppress and depress. AU
