A provincial woman gets engaged to her cousin, who has to emigrate to Argentina. She waits for him, without further ado. This is the plot of one of Lorca's last works, Doña Rosita the single or the language of flowers, in which nothing seems to happen, but what passes is time. The playwright and screenwriter Pablo Remón (The mariachis, The treatment, 40 years of peace) for the first time he directs a text not written by him, creating a very free version of the original work that loads the inks on that suspended time that is destroying the ideals of youth, about that aroma of provincial Spain that Lorca describes and that he himself knows so well.
