In Don Ramon María del Valle-Inclán they invite us to imagine what life was like in Madrid after the loss of hope, after losing a war and some colonies. It is the story of a Madrid that begins to be built after the disaster in Cuba, Philippines and Puerto Rico, and that he will fall completely into pessimism with the war of 36. With all this, we could say that it is the story of a time when writing and living went in parallel, and it is that, in this work a double portrait is produced, that of the portraitist and the portrayed, the two Ramons: Incan Valley and Gómez de la Serna. Delving into the life and work of Valle-Inclán we can observe an aesthetic canon, and so, understand that the aesthetic and the vital part are totally united in this literary creator. ASSUME TAMARIT
