CARME THEATER. Gregory Gea, 6
The gap that separates the terms teach and educate seems to be getting bigger and bigger. It would be logical for educational programs to prepare future citizens to be emotionally intelligent, independent and critical; but it is not always so. In Class we meet a student and her teacher who are alone in the classroom on the day of a student strike. They have two different points of view, marked by their generations. While the teacher has known social struggles that turned into democracy and later frustration, the student is aware of her indignation but does not contemplate, still, a possible revolution.
