Amado

FROM FRIDAY 3 ON SUNDAY 12/3
UNSTABLE SPACE. Aparisi and Guijarro, 7

Amado Granell was a republican lieutenant from Borriana who helped liberate Paris from Nazism with his company La Nueve, formed almost entirely by Spanish Republicans. They had lost the Civil War and dreamed of continuing the fight against fascism beyond the Pyrenees, where Franco ruled with an iron fist after having seized power. This story was told to us in comic format by Paco Roca with the wonder that it was The grooves of chance (Astiberri) and now Caterva Teatre brings it to the stage, focusing on the disappointment of those forced immigrants and stateless people who fought for their ideals and at the end of the road were left alone.
