The work Veraneantes (1904) de Maxim Gorki és carn d’adaptació. Ja l’ha sacsejada un il·lustre de l’escena espanyola com Miguel del Arco i ara es llança a la piscina Borja López Collado comandant deu joves intèrprets que combinaran teatre textual i físic en aquesta After·Sun que forma part de les Residències de Creació de la Carme Teatre. En l’obra original un grup d’amics aburgesats i perduts esperen la caiguda i, en comptes de reaccionar, continuen cultivant els plaers de la vida. Una actitud que podem reconèixer en eixa generació Z que, en no veure futur, es deixa emportar per l’hedonisme de l’ací i l’ara (o això diuen). A subject, aquest de les expectatives adolescents frustrades, que ens recorda aquell Future lovers signat per The Tristura. S.M.
