THE FILMTECA. Pl. town hall, 17
From the hand of the Barcelona Auteur Film Festival we have two productions that want to be a sample of the current state of contemporary Italian cinema. A cinema that, for its thematic and formal commitment, brings us closer to a trend very close to a new neorealism. In A ciambra, Jonas Carpignano offers us a fascinating story of adolescence through the story of Pío, a fourteen-year-old boy who tries to stand out in the hierarchical world of a gypsy community. While, pure heart, by director Roberto de Paolis, approaches a refugee camp in the vicinity of Rome where two young people will live a difficult love story. G.LEON
