Symptoms of a certain contemporaneity. Cinema in the S.XXI

UNTIL THURSDAY 18/4
UPV. True path s/n

Coordinated by Javier Moral Martín, this cycle offers us the opportunity to reflect on the new forms of cinema in this 21st century. The program aspires to serve as a vindication of cinema in the face of the repeated announcement of its death in recent years. Cinema is alive. From different aesthetic and geographical levels, the cycle wants to answer the question of how it portrays the world, at present, the moving image. Among the guests we find titles like The swamp [2/11] by Lucrecia Martel, Elephant [9/11] Sant's Gus, Marie Antoinette [11/1] by Sofia Coppola, Guest [25/1] by José Luis Guerin, Boyhood [22/2] by Richard Linklater Saul's son[29/2] but László Nemes.
