Both for the topics and for the techniques, since the appearance of the moving image, animated cinema has shown that it could be as rich as conventional fictional cinema and this session at La Filmoteca shows that. Works by Emile Cohl, Tex Avery i Chuck Jones, the techniques d’stop-motion with Segundo Chomón, Jan Svankmajer or the Aardman studios, going through the pictorial techniques of Norman McLaren, the silhouettes of Lotte Reiniger or the 3D of Pixar. The screening will include a presentation and subsequent discussion with the audience by the Valencian entertainers María Trénor, Maria Lorenzo, Sara Alvarez and Emilio Martí. G.LEON
