Premiered in Spain at the last Mostra de València, the animal marks the feature film debut of Moroccan director Sofia Alaoui. The film places us in contemporary Morocco. Itto is a young woman of humble origins who has married a man who comes from a wealthy family.. Their class complexes, united to the new context to which it must adapt, make Itto not feel completely comfortable. A series of strange events leave her alone in the mansion where she resides..
