Ultimate love song
Jorge Marti
Plaza & Janes | 2022
Jorge Marti, In Spain, It is the frontman from one of the bands indies most recognized on the scene: The Red Room. In Norway, it is the nurse who cares for patients with disabling illnesses on night shifts.. Here, adrenaline runs through your body when you go on stage. In Norway he faces Ingrid's illness, his wife, and his problems with the country's bureaucracy. But until he got there, many chapters have happened in his life., now collected in an autobiography in which he does not hide the bad moments and the difficulties of combining two very different facets so many kilometers apart.. But also the good ones: since his childhood with his friends (especially with Jose, future drummer of his band), the brides, the football, his first sexual experiences, the furtive trips to clubs or the vinyl that he begins to discover at an early age, until the night of partying in Norway that changed the course of his life. All of this seasoned with musical references to his own songs or from bands like Golpes Bajos., Future Radio, Teenage Fanclub or The Smiths that have meant so much to Jorge. Why, as the author himself says: “life, like a disk, has two faces”. And of course, that of Jorge Martí, it was to write a book.
