When the Plaça del Llibre moved from the Octubre Contemporary Culture Center to the Plaça de l’Ajuntament in 2016 the event gained weight and became a godfather. Three years later, consolidated as the great literary meeting of the fall in Valencia, seeks to continue growing and improving that percentage 3% of Valencian readers (front the 95 in Spanish) which launched the Barometer of reading and book buying habits in the Valencian Community in 2018. During these days, seventy Valencian publishers, Catalan and Balearic will make available to readers more than 5.000 titles that combine the latest news and biographical works. Also they have prepared a program with more than forty activities that will help spread and enjoy literature written in Valencian, we talk about round tables, musical vermouths, meetings with authors and book presentations, like that of The spirit of the time by Martí Domínguez (Bow), which recreates the trajectory of an Austrian scientist who put himself at the service of Nazi politics, o First soledad by Vicent Andrés Estellés, in an event where the authors Marc will participate Granell, Jaume Pérez Montaner and Josep Piera, as well as the rhapsode Vicent Camps. The Literary Trajectory Award will go to the poet Jaume Pérez-Montaner; the one corresponding to the best Editorial Trajectory, for Rosa Serrano, and the Diffusion of Culture, for the Choral Society Michael.
