At the end of the eighties, the publicist, Singer and composer Juan Luis Moro released a mini album with six songs calling himself A penguin in my elevator. “Spying on my neighbor” was playing on the radio, something new was brewing in the history of Spanish pop: simple songs to the rhythm of Casiotone, with a great sense of humor and lyrics that talked about simple and everyday things. Shortly after, Mario Gil joined the project, former member of Paraiso and La Mode, to publish the second album, The spa, where topics such as “Perestroika” or success “Trapped in the elevator”. After returning to dedicate himself entirely to the world of advertising, Juan Luis returned to the penguin project years later to revive those simple but magical songs.. V.CASAÑA
