Anyone who grew up in the nineties couldn't escape the delicious pop-rock of the Scottish band Texas, led by Sharleen Splitery and her partner in crime Johnny McElhone. Although the band has become more discreet in recent years, has continued to release quality records. However, it is the letter of nostalgia that brings them to the Palau de les Arts, after a painful postponement in March, to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary (+ Covid years) of his first success, the album Soutside (1989), which sold more than two million copies. A disc that defines the Texas style: love ballads and riffs shrill, an American country-blues with a touch of pop so british which takes us to the imaginary canons of a fantastic journey. Legendary songs to relive with great gusto live! B.L.
