Steffen Morrison was born in Suriname (ancient Guiana dutch) but he was raised in Europe, specifically in the Netherlands. He is a fascinating singer who works the traditional sound of the old school soul, but adding his personal style with a baritone voice with a wide vocal range. He usually performs with a classical wind section and a forceful rhythmic base formed by bass, guitar, keyboard and drums, and he will do this to present his latest work, Movin’ on, built with themes soul fast and a touch of Memphis style, a lot of funk i a contagious energy on stage.
