THE RAMBLET. Boulevard Sud, s/n
Maceo Parker is an extraordinary saxophonist, in addition to flautist and singer, what, near the 80 years, he still maintains the same energy and creativity in his concerts as in his beginnings. He was a key piece in James Brown's wind section, and later collaborated with Prince, George Clinton (Funkadelic) i els Red Hot Chilli Peppers. His saxophone style is characterized by short, sharp phrases, more rhythmic than melodic, and accompanied by a sextet of excellent musicians -who let their virtuosity shine when they accompany him and improvise- will transport us, for brief moments, in the golden age of soul and the funk of the years 60 i 70.
