Nesrine

DOMINGO 2/11, 12H. 12/14€
THE RAMBLET. Bulevard sud, esq. Pius IX

Nesrine return to Valencia. The one who was cellist in the main orchestra of the Palau de les Arts for a few years—Lorin Maazel brought her—has played with tango, the Jazz, the soul, Arabic music and chanson in two interesting trios: NES, with David Gadea and Matthieu Saglio; and Diablito Tango, together with two colleagues from the Valencian orchestra. This French woman of Algerian origin, classically trained, has integrated the West-Eastern Divan orchestra—devised by Daniel Barenboim to gather Palestinian talents, Arabs and Israelis; and she was queen Prospera in the show Amaluna of the Cirque du Soleil. His first album, Ahlam(“dream” in Arabic) was rated by The London Times as the best album of the year, and now, in La Rambleta, will present, Yes, eat (“Once upon a time”), where he sings to us with warmth personal experiences and his vision of the world, in Arabic, english and french.
