Who hasn't danced or sung “Tainted Love”, the classic of nothern soul that the English group Soft Cell returned to the glittering and electronic eighties, read this article! El Duo, compost per Dave Ball i Marc Almond, they were at the origins of European electronic pop alongside Depeche Mode, OMD o Pet Shop Boys. Almond, magnificent melodramatic performer queer, he has not stopped during his forty-year career, characterized by grandiloquence and a certain pop anachronism. With a torrid version in 1985 of the “I feel love” of Donna Summer with the great Jimmy Somerville and the publication of twenty albums that have sold more than thirty million copies, alone, with Soft Cell or in collaboration with artists as varied as Nick Cave, Antony & The Johnsons o Current 93. What honor, then, to be able to hear this icon on the stage where he will present his latest work Chaos without forgetting, of course, the classics of his repertoire. B.T.
