MALILLA URBAN PARK. Joaquín Benlloch, s/n
While pop music has become hypersexualized in recent years, remember that Javiera Mena she has been at the forefront of singing in Spanish, without taboos or metaphors, his love for women, in a sometimes romantic pop, sometimes full of sexual tension, but always synthetic and danceable. And it's important to remember that until recently the music industry was very reluctant to have its artists come so openly out of the closet. His landing on 2014, free and proud d’another era, their first record, it allowed him to build a passionate relationship with the Valencian LGTB audience, to the point of reaching the semi-finals of the Benidorm Fest on 2022. In his last album, nocturnal (2022), the Chilean superstar takes a darker turn, combining romanticism with their moods, but without forgetting to put them on the dance floor. A wonder to discover in the open air in the spring edition of the Serialparc from Valencia, alongside another Chilean pop artist, Soledad Velez. B.L.
