When we think of the music of Marseille, the first thing that comes to mind is the rap of groups of worship with IAM. But several years ago several musicians from the Phocaean city gave French pop music an electronic touch: Nasser, Husbands o Kid Francescoli they are the most successful. The latter is the project of Mathieu Hocine, who was born on 2002 as a French definition of the dream-pop before moving in electro-pop after the meeting with the New York singer Julia Minkin the 2013. The collaboration between the two resulted in two powerful and charming albums: With Julia (2014) i Play me again (2017), which will be presented for the first time in Spain. A concert to travel to the rhythm of tinted melodies from spleen and of folktronica voluptuous. B.L.
