Jon Spencer & The Hitmakers

WEDNESDAY 9/11, 21H. 22/27€
THE CRAZY CLUB. Scholar Orellana, 12

Before Jack White became known with The White Stripes as the young promise freak del rock and roll, already existed on the scene underground Jon Spencer, in front of Pussy Galore. He formed The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion handling garage rock sounds, punk, blues, R&B y, sometimes, mixing some hip-hop. It is moody and strange looking but, first of all, Spencer is a showman with a lot of personality. His latest work with The Hitmakers was recently released., Spencer gets it lit, an album that is not at all predictable if we compare it with his previous discography: complex sounds, danceable but dark, difficult to describe despite having many similarities with the Blues Explosion.
