The PALAU DE LA MÚSICA JAZZ FESTIVAL returns after last year's pandemic hiatus with a line-up that combines fusion jazz, flamenco jazz and classical jazz recovered eight of the concerts that were planned for the 2020. The voice stands out Cecile McLorin Salvant [6], vocal jazz queen who won al 2015 a Grammy for Best Vocal Album for his third work For one to love. The Balearic pianist makes his debut at the festival Marco Mezquida [7] —who accompanied Silvia Pérez Cruz on the keyboard during her last visit to Valencia— with a repertoire dedicated to Beethoven in the 250 anniversary of his birth. the singer Andrea Motis [8] will pay tribute to Brazil by presenting the album On the other side of the blue, where he leaves aside the American influences, the Charlie Parker Legacy Band [11], with saxophonist Jesse Davis, will remember one of the great jazz musicians in history and Chano Dominguez [13] will bring the flamenco touch.
