The career of this American soul singer began around 2005 after moving from Massachusetts to Chicago to be educated in the gospel tradition, soul and classic blues. In the recording career ofEli Paperboy Reed we find, both original compositions, as adaptations of songs from other styles and, although his music can be considered traditional or vintage, his interpretations go further to update the soul in the current times. He is an excellent singer with a multitude of interpretative resources that modulates his voice to make it emotional, energetic or nostalgic, according to the intention it wants to convey.
