Chucho Valdes

THURSDAY 27/11, 19.30H. 28/48€
ARTS. Professor Lopez Piñero, 1

Just over eighty years old, Chucho Valdes continues to expand the boundaries of Latin jazz. The legendary Cuban pianist comes to Les Arts on a tour that combines concerts with his Royal Quartet and evenings in solo piano format, like the one that will be offered in our city. He will present his most recent album, Cuba & Beyond, Latin Grammy nominee 2025, at the same time Valdés was recognized as NEA Jazz Master, the highest award in American jazz. These distinctions confirm that the creator of the group Irakere continues to be an essential figure on the global musical scene.. Don't miss this encounter with the living history of Afro-Cuban jazz. V.CASAÑA
