The Poliniza Dos urban art festival of the Universitat Politècnica de València was held in May as a posthumous tribute to the Argentine artist based in València Tamara Djurovic, known as Hyuro. The exhibition was part of the festival program Processes through the looking glass, that we can enjoy the entire month of June with photographs that testify to the process of creating the murals that Hyuro made in two editions of Poliniza and graphic work that he created in the workshop, off the street where she felt so comfortable in recent years. With its sober style of ocher colors, discussed topics that arose from personal experiences or in which she felt involved in some way. In his works, circles of women dressed in ancient clothing appear. (law, aprons, medias, shoes, bows…) that emanate spirituality, empty cages that evoke the caged ones, paintings that investigate human movements such as clapping, laughing or undressing (and get dressed again), self-portraits, narrative sequences that tell us stories, and disturbing drawings full of mutilated bodies, leaves and long hair of ethereal meaning. Pure synthesis that focuses on everyday life. AU
