UNTIL SUNDAY 5/2
MuVIM. Quevedo, 10
It is the third consecutive year that the MuVIM hosts within an exhibition a selection of the works submitted to the International Poster Award Makham. Of the 700 proposals for competition this year have stood out Consumer Capitalist (KK) by Irma Arribas, the winner, that raises the displeasure covert that derives from the consumption of oneself within this capitalist system that encourages vice, selfishness, insatiable craving and environmental wear and tear. The other two award-winning works talk about the pleasure of taking off your bra, or they play typographically with interjections of pleasure (ah) and displeasure (Ay), but there is much more: exacerbated consumption, the contradictory feeling generated by the use of mobile phones or sexuality, illustrated in a thousand and one ways.
