MATER AMATÍSIMA

ROSA SANTOS GALLERY. Bosseria, 21

María Ruido shows us at the exhibition Mater Amatísima. Imaginaries and discourses about motherhood in times of change how the mythical motherhood designed by the patriarchal system is naturalized as an impulse typical of human females. Not in vain, The body is one of the fundamental territories of social control. States urge us to reproduce in an increasingly fragmented and individualistic society so that having offspring is the only way to generate significant footprints, however, noise wonders: Do we truly choose to be mothers?? Why care, our fundamental life work, It is assumed to be a task especially suitable for women.? LAURA NÚÑEZ
