Marina Puche. Love at first ink

UNTIL SUNDAY 28/5
CARME CENTER. Museum, 2

2023 will go down in history as the year in which, for the first time, a woman designs the municipal falla of Valencia. it will be Marina Puche Who, together with the artist Manolo García, plant a heart made of rod at the central finial of a falla that combines the color, the wood and the illustration to reflect the resurgence of the failing heart after the pandemic. And as usual in recent years, the monument will continue in the form of an exhibition at the Center del Carmen, where the small everyday moments become a precious object and you look back to remember what everyday life became during the Covid health crisis. A large sculpture in the Gothic cloister of the building, porcelain pieces, dolls, drawings, sketches, murals and cut-outs make up this one Love at first ink which contains a retrospective of the numerous children's fallas made by Puche and of his collaborations in the last two years in large fallsas, and an exhaustive look at the municipal failure of the Valencia City Council that, this year, remains for history.
