Dins d’una sèrie d’exposicions que el Museu Valencià d’Etnologia dedica a persones rellevants en l’àmbit de la recerca etnològica no podia faltar una mostra dedicada a Joan Pellicer. Metge i etnobotànic, investigador i apassionat, Joan Pellicer va iniciar en els anys vuitanta un vast projecte de recerca, documentació i divulgació de l’ús tradicional de les plantes en el territori valencià, davant el risc de pèrdua dels sabers populars. En la mostra veurem fotografies, objectes i documentació del seu arxiu personal, publicacions i materials de treball d’aquest “jornaler de la cultura” a qui és necessari retre un gran homenatge.
