Gaudí & trenches

NAC MUSEUM. CERAMIC. Poet Querol, 2

The trencadís technique creates a link between the city of Valencia, where it is very present, and the famous architect Antoni Gaudí, that he used it to decorate many of his most representative works, like for example Park Güell. The National Museum of Ceramics and Word Monuments Fund show us 53 works (33 originals i 20 reproductions made by the restaurateur Montse Agüero) thanks to which we will learn the secrets of this technique and its evolution over time, starting from the ancient mosaics, until reaching the most emblematic works of today.
