Gallery six of the IVAM hosts the site specific d’Anna Malagrida on the most peripheral and despised material of the faults, the ash. It has been a challenge for the Barcelona artist because she did not know Valencia or its big party. The exhibition contains a strong metaphorical and symbolic character, faults are used to speak allegorically of other tensions, and it does, for the first time, exclusively with the video format, which was imposed unequivocally. Malagrida shows us the materiality of a party declared Intangible Heritage of Humanity and discovers secondary scenes of the great pomps unknown to Valencians. S.M.
